How are our tiles (coasters) created?
Each ceramic tile/ or slate tile is purchased prior to crafting, my company uses a decoupage method to adhere a print to each tile over several applications. This method takes several days to complete correctly and seal with a water-resistant sealant. My studio has multiple drying racks to allow tiles to dry completely before shipping to your home.
Regarding prints: My company uses multiple types of printing papers for our products. most commonly used is different weights of cardstocks, however I do use rice paper, decoupage paper and thin napkin type paper for specific pieces.
